The look of the all-new 2016 Kia Sorento endows it with a brawnier, more planted stance, communicating its edginess and rugged personality.
The clean profile is easily recognizable as Sorento, enhanced with strong shoulders and a long hood to deliver a sleek aerodynamic appearance.
The seating system is designed to offer optimum comfort. For added luxury, Sorento offers heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, dual-zone climate control, and Kia's second-generation panoramic sunroof. Sorento also hosts optional premium Nappa leather trim seating surfaces, similar to those found in Kia's luxury flagship sedan, the K900.
Power comes from a choice of three engines; the 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine delivers 185 horsepower. The Sorento's 3.3-liter V6 makes 290 horsepower and enables towing up to 5,000 pounds when equipped withal-wheel drive. The Sorento's new turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder makes 240 horsepower, while also delivering commendable fuel efficiency. All three engines use a six-speed automatic gearbox.
Total cargo volume in the new Sorento is 74 cubic feet, while cargo volume behind the third row is 11 cubic feet. The easy-folding lever system allows various seating arrangements, flexible luggage space, and greater overall versatility.
